You can use the paypal link at the bottom of the page for your first class.
TUESDAY LUNCHTIME CLASS:
A slow flow hatha yoga class - incorporating lying, some sitting, standing and balances. No crazy stuff, no body-wrecking moves and we don't take ourselves too seriously. Functional movement that will help us in our everyday lives - moving so that we can keep on moving.
WATERLOW PARK CLASSES SUNDAY 10.30-11.30am in the Spring/Summer
Similar style to the Tuesday class, but if it's a bit chilly, classes will be more active and with more standing poses. Get in touch if you want to come and I'll send you the exact location and safety guidelines. Please bring your own mat (or I can lend you one).
ANY QUESTIONS, GET IN TOUCH. PLEASE ALSO LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE OF THE CLASS IF YOU HAVE ANY INJURIES OR CONDITIONS.
GET IN TOUCH IF YOU WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE WEEKLY MONDAY MORNING EMAIL (UNSUBSCRIBE LINK IN EVERY EMAIL) OR THE WHATSAPP GROUP for EACH CLASS (I'm the only one who can post so you won't get loads of annoying texts!).
TUESDAY LUNCHTIME (1-2pm) IN PERSON CLASSES at Highgate United Reformed Church, Pond Square, South Grove, London N6 6BA - MAP HERE:

Classes are in the church itself. A beautiful big space with a wooden floor and stained glass windows. The front of the church is set back from the road a bit and has 2 sets of big blue double doors (as you can see in the picture). Currently there is free parking in Pond Square after midday - but always check the signs as things change.
NEW COVID HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES (for in-person classes at the CHURCH) - UPDATE:
As of 19th July 2021, we will still keep the same guidelines as below.
Do not come to the class if you have a temperature, a cough or if you feel unwell.
Please bring your own mat and any props you might need. (I can lend you a mat/props if necessary).
Please use the hand sanitiser unit fitted on entry (and exit) to the church which will contain 80% alcohol hand gel – it is motion sensor operated, so no need to touch anything (I will also have hand sanitiser with me).
Please scan the QR code on your phone on the glass doors when you enter the church (you will need to download the NHS Track & Trace app first). If your phone doesn't support this, then as long as I have your contact details, that's fine. UPDATE 19.7.21: helpful if you can still do this, but it's not obligatory.
Please make sure your mat is 2m away from the next person's mat (that's about a mat's length between mats). We will also stagger the mats (like we used to before all this!). UPDATE 19.7.21: no longer obliged to do this, but as we have a spacious area, might as well keep mats well apart if we can.
Please wear a mask as you enter the building and in all public areas (lounge, loo etc). Once you are lying on your mat, you are welcome to remove your mask or keep it on.
Leave all belongings/shoes on one of the chairs against the wall and put them at least 2 chairs width from anyone else's.
Avoid arriving too early for the class.
There are regular cleaners Monday, Thursday and Saturday morning, but the Church will also commit to making sure that all frequently touched surfaces – door handles, toilet handles, taps etc – will be cleaned with anti-viral cleaner every morning.
I will also commit to wiping door handles and surfaces before/after each session.
The upstairs (disabled) toilet off the Lounge area will be open, and I will clean handles and surfaces before/after each session.
I will open all available doors and windows before the class to allow free flow of air. Do wear layers to keep warm.
There will be no other classes/groups in the Church before us on Tuesday morning.
I keep a register of everyone who attends a class.
We are lucky that the Church is a big, airy space.
Any concerns/questions, please get in touch [email protected]
PRACTICAL INFO FOR CLASSES:
Don't eat too much in the 2 hrs before class (a light snack is fine). Wear something comfortable (leggings/trackies and a t-shirt) - we do yoga barefoot. For winter classes, I have a few blankets, but you might want to bring something warm for the final relaxation. If you have any injuries or conditions, please check with your doctor before starting yoga - or at the very least, please email me before coming to a class.
All mats and props provided (you are welcome to bring your own mat)
